Center or change the pivot

Rotate the model and compare the imported origin, calculated bounds center, and an intentional custom point.

Preserve the existing pose

Use setViewerPivot(config, point, { preserveVisualPosition: true }) when changing the pivot after positioning or animating a model. Model Lab compensates the current model position and all sequence keyframes.
